How hard is billing and invoicing?

I'm applying for an office assistant job and if I get it will be incharge of billing and invoicing. The description says "basic accounting experience a plus" and that they use quickbooks. I don't have experience with this and this is the only thing im worried about at my interview. What exactly does it entail? And is it hard to learn?

1. i have an accounts receivable position at a construction company where i do invoicing. i also used to be a bookkeeper where i was in charge of payables. quickbooks is pretty easy. they even have books to help you i.e. "quickbooks for dummies". for invoicing, all you do is create invoices and send them to clients/customers. it's fairly easy and if you have good common sense and know how to add/subtract/divide and can use a calculator and a computer, you are pretty much good to go. they SHOULD have someone to train you before you start the position on your own. don't feel dumb asking them how to use quickbooks. a lot of people don't get any experience with it until they get a job that uses it. before your interview, i would suggest reading a quickbooks help book.
2. Just filling in a blank form. No more disturbance please.
3. not hard as long as you can add and substract
4. Shouldn't be hard with quick books. Mine or because they are for ship repair and can be over a million with lots of detail.
