What is the best inventory software to use for a Business?

I saw some software one time that looked like the women was just scanning an item and it pulled up their inventory on a laptop, so I was wondering if anyone knows of that program, or something that might be better. Thanks!

3. ~~We used a hand scanner system put out by Zebra Software. It worked and integrated well with our Quckbooks program. Then we were able to manage our inventory with quickbooks, and scan the products for adding to the inventory and for retailing.~~
