Is there an Inventory software that can calculate the approximate price of the software installed?

I need an IT inventory software that can not only list all the software applications installed on my computer but can also let me know the approximate total cost of these software applications. It will greatly help me to decide how much I shuold spend on backup mechanisms. Any such free software would be great, but it doesn't matter even if I need to pay for this software. Thanks.

1. No, that's why computers will NOT replace humans anytime soon. Use the Belarc Advisor to list all the software on your PC. Then, cost out the list manually and do the math. TIP: It's not the software that you need to backup, if you have it on a CD/DVD, OR can download it again, it's your "personal data". ONLY you can decide what that is worth to you!!!
